“There is an ancient Celtic axiom that says ‘good people drink good beer.’ Which is as true then as now. Just look around you in any public barroom and you will quickly see: Bad people drinking bad beer. Think about it.” -Hunter S. Thompson
The Spring NYC Craft Beer Festival will take place Friday, March 24th and Saturday, March 25th at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. The festival will feature seasonal tasting selections of 150 craft beers, meads, and ciders from 75 local and national breweries. There will also be food, games, retail vendors, and a Hard Stuff Spirits Pavilion featuring spirits, whiskey and malts.
The festival is designed to offer an extensive/diverse sampling to entertain and further educate the beer enthusiast, but also provide damn good beer for the casual beer lover. In addition, NYC mixologist Mcson Salicetti will host a Craft Cocktail Competition of local bartenders, challenged with using unique ingredients to create the best craft beer cocktail.
