Because of tonight’s severe weather warnings, Concordia school administrators decided to stop any risks to incoming families and allowed those waiting in line to go home early.
The school has taken the names of some 100 preschoolers whose caregivers have been waiting in tents since 5 am Thursday morning in an effort to keep families out of the cold on what could be one of the coldest nights of the winter. Registration was originally set for tomorrow (Saturday, 3/11) morning.
And from personal experience, these families are as grateful and ecstatic as you can imagine. Congratulations to all families involved!
